Sunny Skies, Flying By Card

Here are some daring young birds on the flying trapeze for my Lawnscaping Challenge #38 entry. There is so much going on in this inspiration photo, so I concentrated on the colors and the uplifting feel of all of them, if you know what I mean. I drew the ropes of the trapezes (trapezees?, trapezi?) and the little tossing motion after sketching them the way I wanted in pencil first. It's not hard to do. Thankfully birds have a built in safety net so drawing one of those was not necessary.

    1. Thank you! For the bar of the trapezes, I just cut straight strips of brown paper and placed them. Then I outlined them with a thin marker. Then I drew the curves in pencil and then traced over them again with the thin marker. If you draw in pencil first it's very easy.
